Dalin Maxim - Crown, Fire and Copper Wings
Author: Dalin Maxim
There are two storylines in this tale. The first one revolves around a princess and her loyal eunuch, who follows the classic romance novel trope of finding her prince charming. However, in the quest for the empire's power, not everyone is supportive of her chosen one. Some are even afraid of him, and the princess could easily fall victim to local schemers.
In the following paragraph, there is a story about a prince who does not concern himself with any moral suffering. This is not because he is inherently evil, but rather because he never thinks about the consequences of his actions. Eventually, he and a group of foolish people destroy a peaceful town, and they find themselves facing powerful forces. The only person who can help the prince is a monk he previously considered to be "pathetic". However, the monk's strength proves to be enough to make the prince reflect on his actions. Suddenly, the prince realizes that everything he did was wrong, his comrades were soulless mercenaries, and he himself was nothing more than a hindrance sent on a "holy" mission.
A world with a semblance of Arabic culture. Slavery, meanness, intrigue among people. And a proud winged race living side by side, communicating with other ancient creatures. Representatives of whom are feared and at the same time respected. A world where all the mysteries have not been fully revealed, and this is not required.
