Khrabrykh Konstantin - Mask of Death

Author: Khrabrykh Konstantin

Series: Mask of Death #1

The premise of the book is standard - a new student comes to the magic academy. And of course, he has a considerable advantage over his classmates. After all, he not only has enormous abilities in the magic of death - he is death. Let it be small, not yet at full strength. It turns out that in order to judge people, it is customary to send future guides of souls to live among them. In principle, he doesn’t really need training at the academy itself. The magical powers and specific features of his race are enough to feel confident even in confrontation with the strongest mgs. Only now it turns out that there are forces in the world that can not only pose a danger to the young personification of death, but also shake the magical balance in the world.

The world of magic is, one might say, classic. Diversity is added by the presence, in addition to traditional gods and demons, of entities that deal with the souls of people after death. However, they should not interfere with what is happening in the world, except in special cases.

The hero honestly tries to get used to the world. He learns, makes friends and is generally very humane for "death". But this is not surprising, since it was for this purpose that his parents sent him to the world of people - after all, only after living among them can you then harm their souls in afterlife. Well, then events begin to quickly develop, and the usual practice develops into a battle with forces that can easily deal with the seemingly invulnerable personification of death

The hero is initially not an ordinary person, but a beginning “death”

Despite his essence, the hero is quite humane and is not alien to the problems of ordinary people

The plot is actively developing, and is not limited to the scope of training at the academy

The hero is able to solve most of the problems thanks to his enormous capabilities, although later it turns out that not everything is so rosy for him
