Raspopov Dmitry – Shards of Hearts

The book follows a classic romantic fantasy trope, where two people in love are prevented from being together. However, the twist is that the hero is a vampire and the girl he loves is an elf. Her family won't allow them to be together, and he is powerless against the entire elven kingdom. To gain strength, the hero seeks out a teacher who trains him in weapon use and magic. However, he pays a high price for the magic, as it comes with a cursed mark that makes him a target for his own kind, and his appearance is altered.

He becomes a skilled warrior and begins to fight anyone who opposes him, including vampires, humans, and elves. He is only focused on becoming stronger and does not care about anything else. He succeeds in becoming powerful enough to challenge the elves, but they are experienced in fighting vampires and know their weaknesses.

The world is full of magic and different races fight among themselves, but there is a balance of power. However, this balance is threatened by a Death Knight, which can only be created by killing. The hero gradually transforms from a naive teenager into a ruthless killer, driven only by his desire for power. The only thing that remains human about him is his love for the elf girl.

Despite the numerous victims among her own family, the girl continues to love him. It is not clear if their love will survive his transformation into a cruel killer.

The hero goes towards his goal without stopping at anything.

The hero is certainly strong, but his strength grows gradually and quite naturally
