Dalin Maxim – Green Blood

Author: Dalin Maxim

The world in this story is similar to ours, but with a few notable differences. Some animals have the ability to take on human form, while certain individuals have lost their souls. It's unclear whether the absence of a soul is a coincidence or a natural way to control the population. Could it be possible that the world itself has a consciousness and sees humanity as a threat to the planet? The story follows ordinary people who are unaware of the impending doom approaching humanity.

This story is a rare example of ecological fiction and includes talking werewolf-like animals with limited intelligence but natural wisdom. They instinctively try to avoid interfering with others. The "soulless" individuals, who may seem evil at first, could simply be a part of natural population control. The security service, acting as the new Inquisition, is fighting against them with the help of those who can sense the absence of a soul. The plot is intense and features well-developed characters, both human and animal, each with their unique attitudes and characteristics.

A rare representative of "ecological" science fiction
