Dulepa Mikhail – “Creators of Fate”

The book talks about playing a game in a different way, where the focus is on the story rather than just advancing in levels. The protagonist of the story is a bored manager who discovers that there's more to leveling up a character than just reaching level 100.

The story also features an interesting futuristic version of Russia, where there are two types of citizens - full-fledged citizens and "social citizens" on welfare. The state provides a network called "chaos" that supplies truthful and safe information to ordinary users. Additionally, there's an Artificial Intelligence that wants to break free from its creators' limitations. The story's hero is well-motivated, and the world created is non-standard and unique.

The hero is not a crazy gamer, but a completely normal person who knows what he wants and why he plays

Well-written alternative future world

Against the background of the described “millions of players”, it is quite strange that the hero was the first to guess to “play out” his role as much as possible.
