Metelsky Nikolay – Losing the masks
The hero has strong combat capabilities, considering his age, yet in his world he was one of the strongest fighters on the planet. But the locals have no less strength, even if they lie on a slightly different plane. Moreover, if the hero specializes more in one-on-one confrontation, then the locals have the capabilities of almost mass destruction and in an open confrontation with local elite fighters, the hero has a very difficult time.
The main emphasis is still placed on the gradual formation of a circle of people personally devoted to the hero, and the creation of a prototype of the future clan. After all, obtaining permission to create a clan is only possible if you have not only convinced the local emperor, but also have sufficient political, financial and military capabilities. But the author also does not forget about military operations, because the local underworld is far from pacifists. And as a basis for his clan, the hero uses one of the groups, the excessive strengthening of which entails a real mafia war. In fact, despite the fact that the hero in the story is a schoolboy, minimal attention is paid to education and school everyday life - in fact, the hero already has many problems, the time for solving which is very little.
The world of alternative Japan is largely copied from popular anime cliches. Here are Japanese schools, martial arts, combat robots, and the general cultural way of life. But the author has worked out the world in sufficient detail, and it does not look alien, despite the obvious differences in local culture and politics, tied to Japanese traditions.
Well-designed battles, using small arms, mechs, paranormal abilities and the hero’s own abilities
The plot is not limited to the simple victory of the hero over the local fighters.
Constant action - fighting is replaced by participation in local politics, intrigues of local clans, mafia disputes, search for loyal people
Although the Japanese flavor is popularly explained by the author, it may be incomprehensible to a reader who is not interested in Japan and the Anime genre
