Zang – Archangel

An angel descending to earth may seem like a cliché, but if you were created solely to battle evil, then there is no choice. As part of your development, you must enter into the ordinary world. There, you cannot remain a supreme being whom everyone worships; you must learn to live like an ordinary person, or at least blend in. Evil takes many forms on earth, and it is not always possible to defeat it with a fiery sword.

The hero is born as a fully-fledged angel, albeit young and inexperienced. After brief training, he ventures to earth. However, he is not immortal there. His essence is immortal, but if he is destroyed on earth, he loses all the progress he has made. It will take him a very long time, perhaps decades, to regain his strength. Therefore, his journey is not carefree. He possesses great magical abilities, but he must hide his true identity.

The story is set in a medieval magical world, where opposing states vie for power. Above all, there is the threat of an invasion from a second world that could end all human plans. Those appointed to maintain order must prevent this invasion. They possess immense power, but with great power comes great responsibility. Perhaps a young angel wandering the earth as a "graduation exam" could become a game-changer in the impending global confrontation.
