Sergey Tarmashev – Catastrophe

The story is about a post-apocalyptic world and a group of super-soldiers who survived the catastrophe. In a world where violence is no longer accepted, these veterans have the power to save everyone and change history. However, there are still people who are willing to fight for power, and they may use deception to achieve their goals. The story revolves around several characters with different motives and abilities, but the fate of a special forces group is at the center of the plot. Alongside them are brilliant scientists trying to save humanity and those who want power at any cost.

The book covers the beginning of a nuclear war and several hundred years after it. The surviving humanity has to start from scratch in a world with very limited resources. The main goal for most people is survival and a complete rejection of the war that led to the catastrophe.

A non-linear plot, "smeared" over several centuries of human existence after the nuclear catastrophe

Unusual society

The benefits and harms of universal pacifism are well-shown

The clear division into good and evil, practically without halftones, and of course "good should be with fists"
