Atamanov Mikhail – Friends and magic

Continuing the adventures of three friends, this book is told from the perspective of a young female magician. In the previous books, we see that the friends' characters changed significantly after arriving in the new world. They matured quickly, developed their own goals, and their natural abilities increased rapidly. However, the heroine remained a teenage girl during her year of study at the magic school. While her friends faced off against squads of assassins and sword masters, the girl struggled with choosing which friend to accompany her. Despite the stark contrast between her experiences and those of her friends, it is more realistic. The friends quickly became significant figures with newfound opportunities.

As the relatively peaceful capital approaches changes, intrigues and power struggles abound. The heroes, having taken sides, come under attack. Meanness, betrayal, and attempts to eliminate them physically become commonplace.

Despite some simplification, the world described in the book remains interesting. The characters gradually grow up and become more involved in local politics. Therefore, the book will appeal to those who crave a lighter fantasy read.

The world is becoming less and less friendly, and the behavior of the heroes is changing accordingly

The motivation and behavior of the third member of the group are very different from other heroes, and against their background can cause hostility
