Tarmashev Sergey – Sunset of darkness

The story revolves around a princess who believes that kindness and forgiveness are not the best qualities for a ruler. She is trying to improve life in her kingdom and is convinced that these qualities can be harmful in the face of war and betrayal, even if someone was brought up among orcs and lacks mercy and philanthropy.

The battles in the story are mostly about human defenses being overwhelmed by numbers, despite magical support. However, the main character, with his army of orcs, appears and saves the remnants. The hero's ability to transport thousands of armies across half the continent and maintain portals to provide these armies with food is impressive, but it looks somewhat implausible.

Overall, the book is an interesting read, but most of it is devoted to gathering allies before the decisive battle, which is likely to be the focus of the last book.

Lots of battles, although they follow the same pattern.

The book is clearly intermediate, everything will be decided in the last volume
