Many readers choose science fiction to escape from the drabness of everyday life for an hour and immerse themselves in a fantasy world. And such readers are looking for light entertainment in science fiction.
There is no need to delve into any details or complex twists and turns of the plot - a simple hero with a ton of strength and capabilities effortlessly solves all the obstacles that stand in his way, defeats all opponents, and wins the hearts of all the surrounding beauties.
Such works are often quite formulaic, and for their fans, this is not a drawback - they buy this book just for light entertainment and expect the plot to develop according to the usual template.
The same genre of humorous fiction is rarely difficult in general - the author, on the contrary, tries to pose the most ridiculous problems for the hero, which he can deal with simply and with humor.
